Casey "The Liberator" Bickel is the General Manager of Really Board Sports.

I started off snow skiing when I was very young. In 1994 I made a decision that would change my life forever, and switched to the snowboard. It wasn't love at first sight, as any new snowboarder knows the first several trips pretty much suck. But even though it hurt like hell to keep falling I was still having more fun than I ever did skiing. So sticking with it got me to where I am today, enjoying anything from the best terrain parks Colorado has to offer, to the awesome feeling of dropping into a waist sinking bowl, and everything in between. In 2008, Zac introduced me to wakeboarding. Going through the same learning curve and trying to remember I wasn't strapped to a snowboard, I fell in love again. When this idea came up for RBS, I was nothing but excited. This is a chance to do something that Zac, Troy and I love to do and to be able to share that with the town we grew up in, to introduce new boarders to a way of life, and provide the best boarders around with top of the line, custom equipment. So get out there whether on the street, snow or water, rip it up, remember broken bones heal and scars make great stories. The only advice I can give any new boarder is don't give up, no matter how sore your butt, elbow or face is, deal with the I-70 traffic and get up there as often as you can, pretty soon you'll be hitting rails and table tops you never thought possible.
Until the shop opens, I am making a living fixing broken semi trucks. Hopefully I will finish that new 5th wheel mount that acts kinda like a wakeboarding tower, and next time it snows gonna strap on the board and see how much stuff I can break. Pictures soon.
